PB + J Monday

I have some of the craziest hair around.  It’s curly, wavy, and straight.  It’s brown, black, blond, and even a little red.  When I get it cut one side is always longer than the other because one side is curlier.  But my biggest complaint is that it’s frizzy.  And for some strange reason I enjoy growing it long, which requires lots more work and product.

I’ve tried so many different shampoos that claim to be the best for my hair type(s?) and then of course they fall waaaay short.  Then just a couple of months ago I was introduced to a new earth friendly hair care product line that is geared mainly for curly hair (but straight haired people are welcome to use it too).  So far I love it!  My hair is softer and way less frizzy.

Let me introduce you to

Their hair care products do not contain sulfates, parabens, petrochemicals and/or synthetic scents & dyes.  They also sell soaps, oils, brushes and combs.  They are a fairly new company based out of Montreal and I highly recommend taking a look at what they offer for both curly and straight hair.

PB + J Monday

Happy New Year Everyone!!

We had a wonderful Christmas break with lots of fun family visits and lots of yummy food.  I am now in serious need of some exercise.  But it was definitely worth it.

Now it's time to get back to doing some burning and blogging.

This week's PB + J came to me from a magazine and was fortified after so many holiday feasts: Use cloth napkins

So instead of buying paper napkins and throwing them away have a stash of fun cloth napkins available for when you have guests over.  Sure it means a little more laundry but your guests will be very impressed and the environment will be very thankful.
I found this great post from another blogger about the same thing...

You can either make your own, like the post above, or if you're not too savy with the sewing machine (like me) you can purchase all sorts of fun and interesting premade napkins.  I've found a couple of great ones on Etsy...

These ones are reversible

Love the richness of these ones
