Moving again!

We've been in this house for less than two years and we're on the move again.  My husband's job is the reason.  Thankfully, the boys are still young enough to be able to adapt and make friends easily and we're moving to an area where we have family and a few friends already.  It's going to be a good change.

Still, it feels like there is a ton to do before the packers come on Wednesday!  The packers will take care of most of our stuff but there are still things I'd like to handle and pack myself.  And we're going to be in a hotel for a few days so we need to pack a suitcase and set aside books, toys and bed buddies for the kids. It will all get done but it will mean a lot of work over the next two days.

Then the moving truck will come on Thursday and will disappear with our things.  It's a strange feeling seeing your belongings drive away without you.  What's even stranger is that we are moving about three hours away but we don't expect to see the moving truck until the following Monday, at the earliest.

Last time we were homeless for two weeks while the truck traveled from British Columbia to Ontario.  The first week we were also driving and staying in hotels so it didn't matter.  It was fun.  And the second week we bunked at my parent's house.

The boys are excited to see their new room and the rest of the house and area.  They are also excited to be closer to their cousins and family.  It will be a nice change for them.  But it's also hard to leave friends behind. We've met some amazing people in our short time here.  Met some wonderful friends that I'm sure we'll stay in touch with in years to come.

Wish us luck!

I would like to introduce you to another very talented artist: Sophie  Van Tiggelen, owner of Bagatelle Designs....

What is unique about Bagatelle Designs?
Bagatelle Designs is a line of contemporary handcrafted jewelry with vibrant sparkling colors and elegant designs.   We make colorful and versatile jewelry for the modern woman on the go who cares about her look even when short on time.  Our designs are feminine and so versatile that you can wear them with any outfit in your closet.  You will be so pleased to own some Bagatelle Designs jewelry.

We love to use Swarovski crystal, bohemian glass, gemstones, lampwork glass beads & repurposed vintage elements.
Bagatelle Designs means superior craftsmanship and quality.  Jewelry that will make you feel good and look good.

Short presentation of the artist:
My name is Sophie and I was born in Belgium (Europe). I moved to Colorado in 2000 with my husband and our 3 daughters. I love the outdoors and all kinds of sports, especially biking and running.
I started making jewelry for myself many years ago and quickly discovered that I have a passion for colors - textures - shapes. I particularly love Swarovski crystals. They have a magical and sparkly quality to them that reflects the beauty of the natural world surrounding us. They can be found in many of my designs.

I handcraft each piece of jewelry right here in my Colorado studio. I take pride in my designs. There is a story around every piece and the colors I choose.
I believe that the things you wear can be an expression of who you are; they can make you feel good and brighten your day.

PB+J Monday

Welcome back to PB+J Monday.  I can’t promise that I will be rigidly regular with this but I will sure try.

This week I wanted to share an eco conscious company with you.  I was introduced to Norwex a few years ago and I think they make great products.

All of their products are biodegradable, use no harsh chemicals and are friendly to your home, your body and the environment.

They make products for cleaning just about anything you can imagine from your hair to your toes and your car to your oven.

One of their biggest products is their microfibre cloth.  It cleans without the use of soaps or other cleaners.  You just need water and the cloth and you can clean just about anything.

The fun thing about their cloths is that they offer many different colours.  So you can code the cloths and keep the toilet one separate from the rest.  They also have a line of products for kids and your teeth!

I use the body pack of cloths and I think they’re great.  They wash your face, remove makeup and exfoliate in one step.  They eliminate the use of soaps and other chemicals being used on your face.

“Cleaning with water only produces a healthy outcome for us and the environment.”
